Parmer County Community Hospital, Inc (PCCH) a 25 bed, " Critical Access ", Acute Care Hospital, is located in Friona, Texas. The Hospital is  licensed by the State of Texas, certified by Medicare and Medicaid and a participating member of Blue Cross/BlueShield.

PCCH is the only hospital located in Parmer County. The active Medical Staff is comprised of three (3) Family Practitioners and one Family Nurse Practitoner.

PCCH, since established in 1945, has provided quality health care to the residents of our area. September 2002 marked fifty seven (57) years of continuous service to the community, a boastful achievement to say the least, in light of the ever changing and dynamic health care industry of today.

PCCH represents a continuing symbol of the commitment made by the community years ago when the decision was made to provide the very best in health care services through the establishment of a local hospital designed to meet those needs.

A newly constructed four physician office building ( adjacent to the hospital ) was completed in August 2001. Future planned construction includes an emergency room, radiology with mammography screening, and laboratory suites. Current Diagnostic Imaging now includes Computerized Axial Tomography ( C.A.T. Scan ) service.
